Ryan accepted a management role with a VC funded startup which would provide the opportunity to apply lean in ramping up production. The heavy R&D conducted here also provided Ryan an opportunity to dig into how LPPD (Lean Product and Process Development) could be applied.
It was immediately obvious from managing production that problems preventing assembly & shipment of product originated further upstream during the development process.
